SKAMC Excellence in teaching

Shri Kalidas Education Society was established in the year 1977 on a firm foundation of religious, moral, intellectual, and cultural values. A group of members with great commitment and enthusiasm under the leadership of Shri B. B. Chimmankatti (Ex-Minister of Karnataka) started this difficult movement to provide for all sections of Children to get an education. It aims at imparting liberal Education to children, irrespective of caste, color, and creed.

In the beginning, the society started free boarding facilities, as the days passed the management started many other new courses. Society had entered new arenas like science, arts, commerce, job oriented courses & Medical courses, etc. It is a great honor to have 14 sub-institutions under the name of the society.

The management decided to start a new medical course in 1992 which was a difficult movement to receive the medical course to the weaker section of the society and gradually started a post-graduate center. Nearly 2000 students are now studying under the roof of society. It is an honor to acknowledge the great personalities, who visited the institute

Ayurveda is a great contribution by India to the whole world as ancient medical system because it is not just medicine but science of life as well. As we all witnessing outbreak of newer diseases from past few years troubling human kind. From Post covid whole world is looking at Ayurveda as a ray of hope. Though Ayurveda was perceived as age old traditional medicine but nowadays gaining global acceptance..

  Ayurveda is a science of life & it is aimed at the preservation of health and prevention of disease by establishing harmony through nutrition, medicine, meditation and daily and seasonal regimens. Ayurvedic science provides knowledge to unfold the reality beyond the physical body and achieve harmony of Body, Mind and spirit. I ensure that in our institute experienced doctors share their knowledge with the students, which help them to learn the theory and practices of Ayurveda. I take this opportunity to appeal society to take up this unique holistic system‘Ayurveda’ as a career. The Institute is presently imparting the Graduate Course of BAMS. The sole purpose of institution is to give competent Ayurveda doctors to the society who will serve the mankind.
